CaringFamily invited to 2005 White House Council on Aging Conference

Online Elder Therapy Provider named to exhibit at decennial event

Boulder, CO, September 28, 2005: CaringFamily LLC, provider of the first service that brings the therapeutic benefits of family communications to elder care, today announced its upcoming participation in the 2005 White House Council on Aging Conference, scheduled from December 11 through 14 in Washington, DC. White House Conferences on Aging occur once a decade and have served as catalysts for the development and enhancement of national, state and local aging policies in the United States.

CaringFamily will participate in the Center for Aging Services Technologies (CAST) pavilion, a technology demonstration with approximately 25 displays from selected companies and universities, including many CAST members. Displays will feature innovative technologies that will be available in the next 10 years to increase independence and improve health care for seniors. CAST focuses on the application of technology and particularly the policy issues that impact how technology will be used successfully and priced effectively to provide aging services.

"We're thrilled to participate in the landmark White House Council on Aging Conference," said Paul Davoust, CEO of CaringFamily. "Our participation, following grants from the National Institute on Aging and the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research, underscores the potential of CaringFamily's system to transform elder care by connecting seniors to their families in new and powerful ways."

About the 2005 White House Council on Aging Conference

Once a decade, the White House Conference on Aging brings together over 1,000 delegates from all 50 States, the District of Columbia, and the Territories, most selected by State Governors, Members of Congress, and constituent organizations (including national aging organizations and veterans groups) to report policy recommendations to the President and Congress to help guide national aging policies for the next ten years and beyond. Four previous White House Conferences on Aging have been held since 1961.
